You will find us on a farm like setting,
only 6km from Gods Window and 10km from the town of Graskop. The Berlin and Lisbon falls are within distance from
the tavern. We are the last stop to Bourke's
Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon. Below the property are crystal
clear mountain streams and rock pools, where one can relax after a hard
day sightseeing. Beautifully
decorated in a rich Victorian red, the lounge acts as a perfect setting
to enjoy intimate conversation and drinks around a fireplace. Soak in
a warm atmosphere as you lounge about at your leisure. Our bar, where
one can enjoy a relaxing sundowners after a long day exploring, is another
attraction at the tavern.
The
dinning room is colourful and vibrant, with walls hand painted and the
room decorated with old traditional Victorian art. An Adam fireplace completes
the ambiance of the room. Diners are served by candle light, enhanced
by light classical music in the background. A full farmhouse breakfast
is served either in the dinning room or on the veranda, and is just what
you need to get one ready for a long day about.
Our
accommodation consists of five warmly decorated en-suite bedrooms each
with its own private veranda. All the units are comfortably decorated
in a Victorian style. Each room is unique in the way it has been hand
painted and decorated to add a sense of true individualism.
